Domain renewal (expired)

    Hi,

    I recently allowed our domain ‘futurestatesband.com’ expire – I was away from the computer and missed the renewal! Is it possible to repurchase the domain?

    Hi Nicolas, this domain expired just long enough ago that it’s in redemption now:

    The registrar charges an $80 fee to retrieve it at this point, in addition to the regular renewal fee. Since it’s pretty time-sensitive, I’ll send an invoice now so you can take care of that right away. We can reach out to the registrar as soon as it’s paid.

    Or if you prefer, you can just let that process continue. The redemption period usually takes several weeks, and there’s a chance of losing the domain to another buyer if someone else gets it first. If you want to use that option, let us know so we can cancel the invoice.
