Domain Name

Hi, so I orginally used WordPress for my blog and I had the domain name ‘www.(domainname.wordpress.com) but now I’ve made my blog through another website but I still want to use the domain name but wordpress has the name. So what I am asking is if I delete this wordpress account with the domain name, can I use it for my other website? Or does it mean that if I delete my wordpress, my domain name is gone forever with it too?

You cannot use wordpress domain as self hosted. But you can mapped your new domain with the wordpress domain. Domain mapping is when visitor enter your wordpress site they see your yourdomain.com URL instade of yourdomain.wordpress.com URL.

If you delete your wordpress address then it will no longer available to anyone. Also you cannot get that URL again after delete.
