Domain Mapping

    Hello, I’d like to keep my domain where it is, but be able to use it on my new WordPress page. I’m just trying to understand everything involved. I’ve never done this before. Please help. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    In order to use your domain hosted elsewhere with your WordPress.com site, you’ll need to change the domain nameservers at your domain host, and point them over to WordPress.com. Our nameservers are:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    Then, you’ll need to purchase the mapping subscription upgrade as a part of a paid plan if you want to use the domain as primary domain. Otherwise, you can just purchase the mapping subscription, but the .wordpress.com subdomain will be the primary domain.
