Domain Mapping

    I thought by mapping a new domain I would be creating a new blog with the new domain name, but the domain was mapped to an unactive blog of mine.

    the unactive blog is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    and I was trying to create a new blog with the name avidaphotography.com

    Is there anyway to go back and remap avidaphotography to a brand new site or did I mess up big time?

    Please create the new site where you want to use that domain. Select only a free address and a free plan.

    https://wordpress.com/start/site/

    Once you’ve done that, let me know the free address, and I can move the domain mapping over to that site for you.
