Hi i am fairly new and i want to start a music based entertainment blog and i have a few questions.

I want to be able to link media from other sites to my site and write articles about them. My question now is would you guys allow it?

My other question is this, what are the limits to building my seo? I want to be able to tag my posts effectively to bring in visitors so does your hosting services see this as Gaming the search Engines???

Hello!

So for your first question, what are you looking to link? For instance, this support article tells you how to embed Youtube videos onto your site. If that’s what you’re looking to link, there should be no problem. A mod would know better about all the specific rules though, so I’ll tag a modlook.

Your second question would be better separated into a separate forum post.

Can you give me some information about what you would like to do? For example, do you want to upload media (images and videos) created by other people, to your own site?

Just linking to content from other sites.

If you are creating text links that take visitors through to the media owner’s site, that will be fine. In this instance, the media wouldn’t be displayed in your posts/pages or uploaded to your actual site.
