disappearing images

    Hi. I occasionally post images to my blog, but this evening they are gone. In my image folder, I find these blue phantom squares bearing the titles of my jpgs and their file sizes, but as I said, they’re blue squares rather than thumbnails.

    I might add that I discovered this problem after I got a server error. Is the problem temporary? I’m certainly not going to waste time reposting all the images.

    i’d think it’s temporary since there was a scheduled maintenance recently. if you still can’t see your images the next time you check your blog, you could send feedback to support.

    Yes, I too noticed image weirdness last night. Seems to be settled down now. If you’re still having problems, please give us a link so we can look at one of the affected posts.

    I have the same problem. When I post an image, it displays, but when I go to edit the file again, the “src” details of the image have been stripped from the code. I get the blue box. How do I resolve this so I don’t have to “send to editor” again every time I want to edit the post?
