I received an email today saying a domain I registered is about to be automatically renewed on November 19, 2015 and if I don’t want to renew, I can disable automatic renewal.”

I DO NOT want to renew, but I do not have or know my login information to disable automatic renewal.

I set it up through wordpress.com but paid extra for the custom domain name.

What I post below is only relevant if you are referring to a blog hosted by wordpress.COM and your purchased upgrades for it.

You have to be logged in under the exact same wordpress.COM username account that registered the blog and purchased any upgrades for it to cancel them.

Provided you are logged in under the same wordpress.COM username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/
    as well as
Dashboard > Store > Billing History

Thank you. The blog I am trying to cancel automatic renewal for (withoutwax.me) was set up through wordpress.COM through which an upgrade was purchased. My problem is that I do not know the login information to login and cancel the renewal and I don’t know how to actually get in touch with a person to get help with the cancelation.

    Here is the WHOIS information.

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and manage the site and upgrades.

If the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If you are not successful, then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
