Desire to purchase more storage space, not a plan

    I need to purchase more storage space for my blog, but only see the option for monthly ‘plans,’ which I do not want. I just want to make a one-time purchase for more space. From this post: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-want-more-space-not-an-upgrade?replies=17 it seems that it is possible, but I can’t figure it out! Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi! I am looking for the same thing: more space for a fee.
    I’ve read the post you linked but that is 2 years old. Storage is expensive and it is probably not a good business decision to offer it as a “one time purchase”.
    I’ve looked into Google blogger (which offers 15G free space, enough for me) but their templates are awful.
    Also the WordPress feature “Link to > Custom URL” (pointing to Google Picasa) seems to be missing now.
    The only solution I found was to write HTML code to point to individual pictures or albums hosted by Google.
