  I made a mistake creating a new wordpress account and now i would like this to be permantently deleted – can you help?

  Hi there!
  This is something you can (and should) do yourself. The instructions found in this document are step by step and easily followed:

  Keep in mind that this will ultimately result in permanent removal of all your content so if there is anything you think you might want to save, please do so before proceeding.

  Thanks Dave! It seems like the best option, although I would have preferred a “Delete my account”-button to wipe me completely out of the wordpress-family.

  You are welcome!
  There are dire warnings displayed in the delete accounts process. People often ignore them, then come back wondering where their accounts went!

  Can you imagine the amount of confusion a simple button would cause :0 ?
