  I have a self-hosted site on WP.org with Bluehost (quiethollow.com) and am thinking having this acount still active confuses things. Esp my gravatar. Should I delete permanently?

  You’ll need a WordPress.com login to create and manage a Gravatar. You’ll also need it if you want to use Jetpack. Based on that, you should not delete this account.
