deleting categories

    I am trying to delete the only category in my blog, “Introduction.” However, all the ways I’ve tried to delete
    it (for example, hovering the cursor over the category name) won’t allow me to delete it. Only the options “Edit, Quick Edit, and View” (not delete) appear. Can anyone give me some advice about how to delete it?

    Go here > left menu column Admin page
    click the Posts link
    in the menu below it click the Categories link
    One that page you will be able to delete the Category.
