  Hi there. I have an old work blog, disused since 2009, that I want to delete. I can’t recall the password or relevant email (which has probably expired) so what can I do? Many thanks.

  You will need to start the account recovery process here:

  https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  There is no way to delete a WordPress.com site unless you have access to the account that owns it.
