Hi,

I started a blog back in 2009 but then abandoned it. I’d like to start a new one with my same log in info but don’t want to use my old url “freakymittens” anymore. Since I can’t change it I was hoping I could just delete my account altogether and then start over. Is this possible and if so how do I go about it?

You cannot delete the account, but if you could, that would not free up the username. Just create a new blog under that username and set the old blog to private. That way if at some point in the future you want to start that old blog back up it is there waiting for you. You can also use it to as a test blog for trying out new themes and such.

On the “my blogs” pulldown in the grey admin bar is a link to register a new blog.

Oh, I didn’t realize you could have more than one blog on an account. Thanks for the info that helps a lot!
