Deleted Old Url, cannot recover

Hello,
I don’t know how I did this, but I changed the domain name of my WordPress site without creating any redirects to the new site previous to changing. Now I cannot recover the old URL, it says that the authors have deleted that site. Is there still a way to recover the old URL, or at least create a redirect from that one to the new site? Thanks for any help.

Please read the relevant support doc at http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ and type modlook into the tags on this thread, if and only if that URL was deleted within the last 30 days.

It is possible to reverse a site deletion for the first 30 days after a site is closed. If you realize you closed your site in error, please contact us immediately. We will be able to assist you in restoring your site during this 30 day window. Once the 30 days have passed, all of your site data is purged and cannot be restored. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
