Delete myself an an administrator

So my friend started a blog (gethendriel.wordpress.com), and he felt it necessary to make me an admin on his blog. He has abandoned his blog, and I don’t want it to show up under my account anymore. Can anyone help me figure out how to delete myself as an administrator? I don’t even keep in touch with the person anymore.

    No, that won’t work.

You need to make someone else admin, and have them delete you. Unfortunately, that leaves that person being admin…

Best solution is to get an email you’re never going to use again, (email visible only to moderators and staff) or something, and get a new user ID using that email. Then make THAT ID admin of the blog, have that ID delete your real ID, and then abandon that second ID for good.

    Thanks for the suggestions!
