Define "Page" (because my entire blog just disappeared)

    I wanted to do a “page” that was in chronological order (i.e., a book). I searched WP and found the instructions. I followed the instructions. Rather than create a page available on my WP blog but separate from the main page, it replaced my main page. Hence, all my posts disappeared. They still exist under “Posts,” but I can’t re-publish them.

    Nothing in the instructions indicated that this new “page” would be anything but a “page,” you know, with a link to it in the sidebar next to the main blog.

    How do I re-publish my blog? The Update button is the only one that appears and it does nothing to rectify this. I still get the duck.
