Customization not sticking after saving

    My blog is https://annotatedtwinpeaks.wordpress.com/. I’m trying to change the background color of my posts from white to black. As far as I can tell, this is done in Customize > Colors & Backgrounds > Background options > Underlying color. When I change that, the preview changes as well. However, when I save and look the site it’s back to white. What can I do?

    Ah, no that option is for the color that goes under your background image — it’ll show up while your background image is loading.

    If you want a dark background on a free site, can I recommend using the Palettes option instead? It won’t let you customize everything, but it does take care of the background color and sets all of the text colors so they’re appropriately visible.
