Cubic Theme – Menu Bar Addition
-
Instead of having the menu as a drop down in the top right corner… is there a way to have a menu bar across the top that would be simple words with links.
i.e. About Us, Series 1, Series 2, Series 3, etc.
So same menu options as my site has now, just visible from the home page without having to click something. I see this on many other themes but not able to do it on this one.
thanks,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello again, this is how the Cubic theme behaves. https://wordpress.com/theme/cubic
It might be possible to change the display of the menu using custom CSS, which is part of the Premium and Business plan upgrades.
If you have one of those upgrades, please post back and someone will move this thread to the CSS customization forum where you can get an answer.

Hi thocanin – I see that you do have the Premium plan, so I would recommend checking out Photo Blog, a new premium theme that’s included with your plan. It looks quite similar to Cubic but it has a traditional menu like you prefer. It also comes with some other handy features, like photo filters and style packs that let you quickly change the look and feel.

totally agree. thanks so much for the suggestion. I think we might migrate to that based on the look and feel.

Should say Photo Blog indeed looks a lot better! Have been contemplating starting a photo blog and might as well go with this one. :)

Cool! If you do decide to go ahead, here are a couple of things to keep an eye on when switching themes:
When resetting widgets, the Inactive Widgets area is only available in WP Admin:
