Creating an archive for past posts saved elsewhere
-
I have three years of weekly posts I want to add to the archive of my site but I don’t want them to appear like they were new. Hmmm. That doesn’t make sense.
OK. How can I insert my work from the past into an archive on my blogsite? If I just create a post it will appear as new and I don’t want to do that. Is there a way to create a post with a date in the past so when it is published it automatically goes into the archive without appearing as new content on my home page?
Thanks for your help, I hope this makes sense.

Yes, you can alter datestamps prior to publication. I know you aren’t scheduling posts but I want you to see the second image here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/

I think this is related: if you backdate posts this way, will email and RSS feed notifications still be sent out? Thanks!
