Creating A New Website And Transferring Our Current Web Address To It

    We currently have a website using WordPress but it is managed by an outside source through our IT department. I have been given ‘editor’ rights to it but I can’t edit like an administrator. We want to create a new website and then transfer our current web address to it. We still want to use WordPress. How do we create the new site and then transfer the web address to it?
