  I’m using a WordPress.com theme Independent Publisher 2 on my self hosted blog https://jubinsblog.com

  My concern is that in the home page or in an archive page where a list of posts are displayed, posts which has manual excerpts donot show the Continue Reading button like in the posts without excerpts.

  Is there a workaround where I can make the button visible for all posts regardless of wether an excerpt has been added or not.

  Hi s0ale, with excerpts, Independent Publisher will only show that without a read more option. There’s currently no built-in ways to change that.

  I’d recommend using a more tag instead:
