I recently created a wordpress.org website with bluehost, however now this website is appearing in my wordpress.com account? Why is this if they’re unrelated? If I close my wordpress.com account to sort out conflictions will this impact my bluehost wordpress.org website? Thanks

    Hi there,

Your Bluehost site is appearing in your WordPress.com account, because you have it connected here via the Jetpack plugin. Jetpack adds several features to your site, like sharing buttons, post Likes, WordPress.com stats, security and backup features, a contact form, various widgets, and email subscription options, all of which rely on a WordPress.com connection to work.

I see you’ve now already disconnected it and deleted your WordPress.com account, so none of those features on your site will work any more, but otherwise this shouldn’t affect your Bluehost site.
