conditional pages (?) to allow different menu on different pages

  • I’ve asked about this before but couldn’t really understand what I was getting back. I’m trying it again.

Basically, I want to have different sidebar menus (for two sidebar theme) on different pages. A dogs menu on the “Dog” page, say, and another menu for “Cats” on the cats page or series of pages.
I think this is possible. It may involve something called “conditional pages”, but that doesn’t tell me enough to act because I’m not a tech, just a user.

how can I have different sidebar menus connected to various pages?

Thanks so much. Sorry to have to come back second time.
