Company vs personal profile
-
Hello, I’m a new to wordpress and have two questions:
1. I created a company profile as the blog administrator. I used my own email address for notifications. However, I want to publish articles under my own name, not as my company. Any suggestions? Do I need to change the email address associated with the administrator account and then invite myself to be an editor?
2. I’m moving content over from another blog (not one that allows importing, unfortunately!). How can I backdate articles?
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1) just change your username, under your Profile.
2) alas, manually. Edit the datestamp on the right-hand side of the Edit Post box. -
Thanks raincoaster.
1) Do you mean my display name? I want to keep a display name for my company in case I do want to post or submit comments as my company.
2) I don’t have a datestamp on the right hand side of the Edit Post box. I’m using Oulipo theme, would that matter? -
(1) If you wish to be able to post under two different usernames (display name company name and my won name) then you will need to log out of wordpress.com, and register another wordpress.com username using a different email address. Then you will have to add that new username you created to the blog in question.
read carefully:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/(2) This is not theme related at all. When you copy and paste the content you are manually moving into new posts or pages on the wordpress.com blog you will find the datestamp in the Publish module.
