Hi there,
Please read what Staff said here on March 18th, 2015:
The Classic Editor will continue to exist in wp-admin. We know some users prefer to use this editor, so we want you to have access to it, instead of phasing it out with the new version of the Dashboard. However, a link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Editor. The classic editor will continue to stay in place!
The Classic Editor will not be removed from WordPress.com. However, many of the links will continue to point to the New Editor as we continue to increase your ability to manage your sites (self-hosted or not) straight from the WordPress.com interface. You can read a bit more about this plan here: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2014/12/16/dashboard-update/
To use the classic editor to create posts like I do, go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
Here is the model so you can see the format

To use the classic editor when you edit posts like I do, use the Posts -> All Posts menu, hover over the post title and click the Edit link.

Here’s the list of workarounds all in one place:

I did find your posts. I don’t want or be forced to do a “work around” everytime I want to write. Why would you guys even think that’s okay?
No wonder there are masses of folks on your case. Put the “button” on the screen so I can choose classic or new!
Remember Windows 8….quite a revolt when the Start button went missing.
People can walk away from WordPress and complain about you too. Your reputation has to be worth something to you.
How thoughtful it would have been to give your clients the option and receive useful feedback as we tried the new editor when we had the time to explore.
