I want to keep my theme and domain, etc. but I want to clear all content (posts, pages, categories, tags) I tried following the steps provided but don’t know how to find the ‘Edit Posts’ list. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
From there you will be taken to the WP Admin Dashboard.
You will see a black sidebar on the left side, and from there you select Posts.
You can bulk edit and delete your content from there.
Feel free to let me know if you need any further help on this.
Thanks so much for replying pauloeaquino! I’ve now decided NOT to delete all my stuff; my problem is I don’t know how to get my first two original posts to share to Facebook and twitter. Is it because my settings were private when I first composed them? I have not written a new post since I changed my settings to Public and connected to Facebook and Twitter. I am brand new to this and am struggling to make it work for me. Your help is so appreciated! :)
No problem Cheryl, I’m glad I could help :)

Yes, that’s definitely a highly probable cause.
If you have already setup your WordPress site to connect with your Facebook and Twitter, then any posts that you publish on your site from here on out should automatically be posted on your social media.
My workaround for this would be to simply copy the url of the post you want to share it manually by tweeting it for Twitter, or share the link via status update of Facebook.
Or, you could enable your Sharing Buttons that can be included at the bottom of any post or page you want to share, and then you’ll have a one-click method for sharing that way. You can learn more about that here:
Thank you thank you! Today is the day I will address and fix this. I so appreciate your help! 😊
One more question, if you don’t mind: how do I edit/change my “excerpts” and what that looks like?
Relevant information regarding excerpts can be found here:
Basically, in your post editor, you would go to More Options, and there you’ll find the excerpt box where you can add a custom summary.
Keep in mind, this feature is applied only to certain themes that support it. Twenty Ten, the theme your site is using at the moment, doesn’t support excerpts.
You can browse the themes that support excerpts here:
But, if you don’t want to change themes, the documentation regarding the “More Tag” provides some alternative ways:
This is very helpful, thank you! :)
