Changing username

since i created my own blog, I wanted to know if there is a way for me to change my username of my account?

Yes, you may absolutely do this. I’ve done it myself.
WordPress.com has a great support document detailing how to do it: Change Your Username
What is REALLY IMPORTANT is this warning:
Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.
You can change your public display name, which will allow you to not lose the current account name.
But if you are sure you won’t want your current account name, later, you can easily change your account name.
