  The header image does not change at all.I use the Lovecraft theme.

  The site https://wisethoughtscom.wordpress.com/ has featured images displayed on the Home, About, and Contact pages, and the site header image displayed on the Blog page. See the Featured Images support page for information and instructions on setting and removing a featured image.
