Change home link url
-
I have a landing page that I’m using as the front page of the WP site. When someone goes to ‘mydomain.com’ they’re taken to the landing page; when they click on any other link, they’re taken to the corresponding page (the entire site is located in ‘site.mydomain.com’, except for the landing page). Now, I don’t have a ‘home’ link on the menu as such, the user will have to click the site-title link to go back to the landing page on ‘mydomain.com’.
Currently the home link directs to one of the sections of the site (one I chose as homepage just to stop the latest posts from being displayed). How can I change this link to redirect to ‘mydomain.com instead of site.mydomain.com? Is it possible, or need I create a home menu for this particular case?
Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.wamerp.com -> this takes you to the landing (home) page
site.wamerp.com -> this is for all other pages of the siteWhat I need is, if I click the logo on the upper left, to be taken back to the home page at http://www.wamerp.com.
Thank you for any assistance.

You have posted to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at WordPress.com with that site as it’s not being hosted by WordPress.com and we run on different software. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/

@designwamerp: If you do have a WordPress.com blog, we need the actual direct address (http://…) instead of your site’s home page.

It’s not on wordpress.org, it’s on wordpress.com but it’s redirected to another domain. The original address was wamerp.wordpress.com.
Hope that helps.

To answer your original question, which appears to be in a nutshell: “how to make my header/home tab link to my actual site and not my blog’s front page”:

@airodyssey Thank you very much, that does work.
However I have a hard time relative-positioning the link in the header since the widget is in the footer section, so I might add a ‘home’ link in the menu instead. I’ll mark this solved, though.
