Category issue
-
I always post pics with my posts. I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that when I click the ‘category’ on my blog, the pictures don’t disappear when the posts get listed. I know you can do it on wordpress.org, but is it possible to do it here as well?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here you go –
I think in this case it’s because I’m using Misty Look and I may have to change it. But I was hoping there was something else I could do first.

ryogirl,
Misty look is one of the themes that does let you make custom excepts. And the good news is, is that you can insert images into those excerpts. Copy the HTML link of the picture or pictures you want into your ‘excerpts’ module. Be sure you are in HTML mode, not Visual mode when you do this.
I’ve done it with my blog, with text and linkable thumbnails.
Here is a link with all the themes that have this excerpt feature:

Or you can simply switch to a different theme – full list here:

I mean switching to one of the themes that display full posts in category pages instead of creating excerpts (she’s got more than 500 posts, mind you). That would be the “all the rest” in the list I linked to (minus the newly added Vigilance theme, which displays titles only).

Oh, right. A theme that will display full posts. Why do I make things complicated? Sorry.
