Categories missing from blog page

  Hello
  I have three categories, which is missing from my blog page.
  I have tried to take ‘Categories’ out of my Widget preferences on my sidebar for my blog page, so I can then re-add it to see if that would help, but my Categories are still missing. So there is no way for readers to go straight to ‘Arts’ or ‘Science’ etc etc.
  Is anyone from the wordpress support team able to assist?

  In order for the Categories widget to have any data to display in any category there must be a published posts assigned to that category.

  Also note that when any visitor clicks the Categories links in the right hand sidebar on any post, all published posts assigned to that category can be accessed.
