Categories at the end of the post redirect to wordpress… WHY?

    I’ve got a problem: at the end of a post there’s da → (Category) and if i click on the category after → it redirects me to a wordpress page with post labeled with that category… Why? It should redirect to a page of my blog with my post labeled with that category (this happens on my private test blog with the same theme)

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It shouldn’t happen on a private blog; check those global tag pages and make sure there are no links back to your blog. If there are, report that to staff via the Help button on your dashboard.

    It should happen on a public blog: that is the way categories and tags function at WP.com. The iNove theme has the option for ONLY local categories, but otherwise any blog with privacy settings set to show up on search engines will have this. It is a huge source of SEO and a deliberate thing that WP.com isn’t going to change. If you want to encourage people to use local categories only, either use the iNove theme or put the Category widget in your sidebar, as all the categories there are local.
