Can’t View Site /Background Image

    I am using the Confit theme and the only way I can see what will be the final version is to go into the Customize option. The site is still private since it is under construction. Is that why I am having problems? Also, sometimes the background image reverts to the theme default, even though I loaded an image in the customize menu. Any suggestions you can offer are appreciated. I posted this in the forum but have received no responses. The site is stjohnknitandcrochet.wordpress.com.

    Hi @stjohnknitters, are you publishing the changes in Customize? Note that won’t make the site public.

    If you’re doing that but still having trouble, would you mind getting full screenshots of what you see in customize (post publishing, preferably) and what you’re seeing on the site itself, then upload them both to wordpress.com/media?

    Then update us here and staff can take a look.
