Cannot View Stats – API Key Error Since Installing Jetpack 1.2.2

I installed Jetpack 1.2.2 last night. Since then I’ve been seeing the following error message when I click on “Site Stats”:

You are not a member of this site.

If you have just installed the WordPress.com Stats plugin, this error probably appeared because the API key entered in the plugin belongs to a different WordPress.com user account.

The owner of the API key must visit this site’s stats page to grant access.

Items to note:
1. I’ve been using Jetpack for well over 6 months with no problems
2. My blog (self-hosted) is connected to my wordpress.com account.

Howdy,

Could you try reconnecting Jetpack? This issue should be resolved now.

I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting to JetPack multiple times to no avail.

Do you also have the WordPress.com Stats plugin installed?

If so, please deactivate and delete it.

I had removed the plugin earlier. The problem persisted. However, it suddenly went away later in the day. I have no idea what fixed it.
