Cancel premium but keep Domain

Hello, I purchased today The Premium account, but found out that Is not really what I need, but I don’t want to loose the domain, because I already got it link to a Office 360 account and I will love to use it …
1. What can I do?
2. Do I get a refund?
3. How much is the domain gonna cost me per year?

Hi there.

1) If you go to the My Upgrades page and cancel your upgrade it should give you an option to cancel Premium but keep the domain. If you don’t see that option, let me know in a reply to this thread.

2) In that case you should get a refund for $74 ($99 for Premium – $25 for the domain).

3) If you leave the domain with us, it will be renewable each year at $25, depending of course on price changes over time. If you want to use it somewhere else than at WordPress.com you can also transfer it to a different registrar once you’ve owned it for more than 60 days.

Hi,

I’m trying to cancel automatic renewal for my domain registered through WordPress. I’d like to use manual renewal. I am on the Purchases page but I don’t see any option to “cancel”. Where do I go to find it?

My domain is daveyin.com, currently mapped to a SquareSpace account. Thank you.

Actually, since I don’t use my WordPress blog too much anymore, I’d also like to make sure that Custom Design isn’t set to auto renew either, and I don’t see an option to cancel that either. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Automatic renewal is not active on either of your upgrades. I see they are expiring in four days, so you will need to manually renew those upgrades soon if you don’t want to lose it.

Note that Custom Design isn’t available as a stand-alone upgrade any more, so if you let that upgrade expire, you won’t be able to buy it again.
