I am on WordPress Premium plan. Is there a way to segregate the testimonials so I can choose to display only certain set of testimonials on different pages?

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is shalinisridhar.studio.

    Hi there,

I can see that you currently have various testimonials on this page:

Here is the related document on testimonials, where one can read further how to add, manage and view them:

While, the testimonial shortcode might come in handy in particular to your question here, since it allows you to embed them in any page or post:

Lastly, since you are on the Business plan, you have further ways to contact support -and faster. Please get in touch with the Happiness Engineers here if you have any questions or concerns:

Hi thanks for your reply. I am on the Premium plan at the moment. I don’t have a problem adding the testimonials. My question was is there a way to use the short code in such a way that i can show only selected testimonials? For example if there are some testimonials people have written for a published book – then I would like all testimonials regarding that alone on the BOOKS page. Is this possible?

    @shalinisridhar Hi there,

Correct, you mentioned already that you are on the Premium plan, my mistake.

Regarding the Testimonials, currently, there is no way to add a filter to them so that you can only display a selected few on the BOOKS page as you desire.

Don’t fret, there is an alternative though. As one can currently see on your testimonials page, you are utilizing a three-column layout:

The alternative would be to use a mix of blocks and achieve the desired effect.

First by using the columns block, and selecting three columns.

Then adding an image block inside each column, followed by a pullquote-block.

That should do it and you can also replicate where needed.

Hope this helps further, otherwise, let us know!

Hi thanks again for your reply. So you are suggesting to manually add the testimonials here as blocks and not use the shortcode for this purpose.

Hmm, would this be the best practice in the long run? So if there are 10 testimonials for the published book that would mean i have to replicate and add it 10 times.

So again, there is no other automatic way i can do it on the backend or through short code at this point?

Correct, at the moment there is not. Have a look in the available options for inserting them through a shortcode on a page or post of your choice:

So you are suggesting to manually add the testimonials here as blocks and not use the shortcode for this purpose

Indeed, my suggestion is this, since you will have to add them manually in the first place -but using my tip you will have the choice to display the ones you desire on the page or post of your choice.

Hope this helps further, otherwise, let us know!
