Boarders for photographs

Hi,
I would like to put a boarder around a photograph or poster…how do I do that please. Very new to using a website …only had 3 days learning as I go …trial & error mostly! Not even sure where to find your reply! …this could prove a challenge .

Borders is the word you ought to use as boarders means those who reside in your home in return for payment.
We wordpress.com bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.

P.S. I would use a free image editing program to create the border around the image prior to uploading it into my blog. Then I would not need an upgrade.
