Blog post not showing up on reader

    Happy new years everyone!

    For some reason at the turn of the new year my blog posts stopped showing in reader. Can somebody tell me why this is? It was okay back in December.

    I followed your site to check, and your posts are showing up just fine for me:

    The reason you don’t see your own site’s posts in the Reader is because you are not currently following your own site.

    Thanks Kokkieh. Is this also why I don’t see my post in the reader when I search for the tag?

    Using the same post in your picture, I clicked on “food” tag under reader and wasn’t able to see it.

    It’s weird, last year I didn’t follow up my own blog but was still able to see my posts in the tags within Reader.

    Your posts should be appearing in tag search, but they’re not showing for me either. It looks like we’ve had a few other reports of this happening, so there might be a bug here. I’ve added your case to the report where our developers are looking into this. I’ll update you if I hear anything from them.

    Hello, I have a very similar problem:
    1. I have a self hosted WordPress site
    2. With Jetpack integration
    3. My admin and wp.com language are both on Hungarian
    4. Im following my own blog in the Reader
    5. My posts are showing up int he Reader after publishing

    BUT: when I use tag search, or clicking on a tag in the Reader on the post I wrote Im getting no hits at all. I used this tag a few times.

    From the forum it seems like this is an issue for a lot of members. To the Engineers -> is there a timeline from the developers as to when this will be solved?

    Jetpack sites will only appear in tag search if the site has a paid Jetpack plan. Your site is using the free version of the Jetpack plugin, so your posts will not appear in tag search.

    This is not a bug – Jetpack sites have always been excluded from tag search and we only started including paid Jetpack sites a couple of weeks ago.

    Thank You for the clarification! I was not aware of it. It’s reasonable, but I do not remember read about that anywhere. Checked the WordPress.com Plans and also the Jetpack plans sections, and this is not mentioned anywhere.
    Maybe I can suggest mentioning this also in the plans also.

    Whether or not this will be added to the plan features is a decision for our marketing department, but this is also not a feature Jetpack ads to your site, unlike the features that are listed. To put it differently, you don’t pay for the right to have your site listed in tag search if you buy a Jetpack plan, and there are cases where we can exclude a site from those listings even if you have a paid plan.

    This isn’t on the WordPress.com plans page, as WordPress.com plans have nothing to do with this. All WordPress.com sites are included in tag search by default, regardless of plan.

    However, my subsquent posts then stopped showing again on reader:
