blog post not publishing or saving?

  I’ve tried 3 times this morning to publish a short blog post (3 paragraphs + 1 medium photo). When I hit Publish (or even SAVE) it just spins and spins and goes nowhere. The post never shows up on my blog and this time it has been in this ‘posting never land’ for 20 minutes. If I move off the publish page, I lose the post. My boyfriend has posted twice this morning without this issue. Why can’t I? I’ve never had this issue before.
