Best premium plan for student?
-
After doing research on all three prices I’m still unsure what the best plan for me personally would be? I’m an art student which has to blog at least three times a week and constantly add images and research about my work.
Because I will be so active on WordPress, I don’t know if I should do the £7 a month plan (£85 a year) as I can also monetize my website if that situation ever comes around but because I’m learning to be a Graphic Designer it seems like a good option to have the pay pal store, if in any case I ever start to sell anything I design, any opinion or advice would be very much appreciated. thank you :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

https://wordads.co/Blogger initiated third party advertising is not allowed here but there are ways to make money here. Please read: Monetize Your Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/Provided you are selling only what you yourself make or a providing service that you personally provide on a wordpress.COM site, or you are asking for donations you have two options.
(1) PayPal – Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Note that the PayPal email link is not supported and PayPal customization options are not supported either https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paypal-button-41?replies=12#post-2517229 This is not likely to be changed any time soon, if at all. Some bloggers create a contact form https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ on a page and after the people have made a PayPal donation they provide the link to a private page for downloading files. Maybe that will work for you.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/(2) If you set up an eCommerce site somewhere else online you can create a custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and include a custom link to that site in it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links
If what I provided above in my first response and in my second one here at (1) and (2) do not suit you, then this guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform: Moving to Self-Hosted WordPress http://move.wordpress.com
http://en.wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads/
https://wordads.co/faq/Please see here for the Business Plan first https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/
The Business upgrade includes:
• Google analytics
• Footer Credit Options https://en.support.wordpress.com/footer-credits/
• SEO Tools https://en.support.wordpress.com/seo-tools/
• The ability to install most plugins https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ including woocommerce and the ability to install third party themes. https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#uploading-custom-themesNote that purchasing a Premium or Business upgrade automatically qualifies your site for WordAds.

https://wordpress.com/plans/Advertisements from third-party ad networks like Google AdSense, OpenX, Lijit, BuySellAds, and Vibrant Media are not allowed on WordPress.com. If you’d like to run these types of ads on your blog, you may wish to try a self-hosted WordPress installation. See: https://move.wordpress.com

Thank you but do you have an opinion or advice on what could be the best plan out of all three of them, for me in my current situation?
-
Start with the Personal plan knowing you can upgrade to another upgrade at any time. http://wordpress.com/pricing/
You can use the Personal Plan, but you need to add the plan first. If you add the domain first, Premium is selected automatically.
Go to My Site -> Plans and buy the Personal Plan, and then you can go back and claim your free domain at My Site ->Domains ->Add.

Thanks for the advice. If I brought the premium plan for instance which is £85 and decide to buy the business plan which is £240 a year would I just pay the full amount on top of the £85 or would I just pay the difference between them?
-
You would pay the difference between the two.
Below is the whole nine yards. :)

If and when you upgrade from Personal to Premium or from Premium to Business you pay the difference between the two plans. If you have a site with a custom domain and then upgrade to a plan, you’ll receive an automatic discount for the domain, but you will need to buy the plan using the same username account that already owns the domain.
You can also downgrade to a cheaper plan, but that requires staff assistance. Also note that if you downgrade outside the refund period of a plan, we might not be able to give a refund anymore for the difference in cost, so downgrading is best done when a plan is about to renew.
How domain mapping works
Registering an underlying .wordpress.com URL first is required for domain mapping. That underlying URL does not have to match the domain URL when you are domain mapping. What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL .wordpress.com to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
There are 3 ways to add a custom domain to your blog. Please note that an active WordPress.com plan is required to add a custom domain to your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#getting-started
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.
WordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their sub domains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/
