  Is there a way to display a banner add or affiliate company logo on your blog?

  (This is if an advertisement deal is made on your own….)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Although, note that WordPress.com does not entertain sites that are purely for driving traffic to your affiliate network. You can use affiliate links that are related to your site’s content in some way.

  Additionally, WordPress.com does not allow affiliate links for gambling, get-rich-quick schemes, multi-level marketing programs, disreputable merchants, pornography, malware, or phishing-type scams.

  Additionally, note that Blogger initiated third party advertising is not allowed here unless you have a Business Plan

  Hi there,

  What exactly do you want to ad?

  Displaying an image affiliate link using a widget in your sidebar should be fine as long as it’s relevant to your site’s content and you don’t overdo it – littering your site with affiliate links for products that have nothing to do with your site’s content will get it suspended. Likewise we allow sponsored posts, but only if it’s original content written by you and it’s not the only reason your site exists.

  But we do not allow third party ad networks like Google Adsense, except on the Business Plan.

  As you’ll see from my reply above, the guidelines are not as clear-cut as they used to be, so please feel free to tag queries like this for staff so we can evaluate it on a case by case basis.
