Add topic to favorites
If you could get a free copyright from wordpress displayed (optionally) on your page in the widgets, no hassle or problems to get it so there will be less spam people copying posts. The only reason I know these spammers is because they once copied a post with a link to my blog on it.They had heaps of other post from other blogs, at least 5 every day. I dont know how many other times my posts have been copied, but it would be good to know that everyone has a copyright. Also a feature, so if anyone posts 15 words, in the same order as your post, it would be considered a spam blog
I dont know if this is a good idea, but I would like it to happen’

Asserting copyright is your responsibility, not WordPress’s. You can get a copyright notice from Copyscape or write your own and put it in a text widget in your sidebar.

And I got this when I tried Copyscape:

“…Your search could not be completed, since the Google API did not respond to Copyscape’s requests.
Please try again or come back later if this keeps happening. We apologize for the inconvenience…”

So what’s the big deal with Copyscape? Anyone knows what’s on?

You automatically own the copyright on the original stuff you write on your blog whether or not you choose to put a copyright notice there. Spammers ignore copyright notices anyway.

I just need to understand this thing about google API and…actually I am puzzled why Copyscape is involved with a Google API?
