  I didn’t realize when I purchased my site (bodythyme.com) through wordpress that the theme doesnt’ come with plugins. This is the first I have learned that we don’t need them. Maybe there is already a way to sync my site with my mail chimp email list? Anyone know?

  Not exactly, but there is a workaround. Mailchimp gives you a landing page so you can direct people there via a Text Widget. Make sure NOT to use the Subscription widget but to use the Mailchimp text widget instead.
