Attempts to spam referrers repeatedly fail

Clicking on the flag or the word “Spam?” merely displays a menu of sub-page referrer links (all spam) from the same spam source. Various http://ranksonic.info links are the ones which presently do not get flagged, but there have been several instances when the same thing occurred recently and I don’t recall the specific URLs involved in previous instances.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ranksonic.info links are not only spam, they redirect either in rotation or randomly to various sites. For example, the first one of the two ranksonic.info links presently in my referrers stats for today redirected to the following websites in consecutive openings:

http://oxdia.com/
http://speechtherapygames.com/
http://coinjunky.com/
http://www.freebiewebresources.com/ -
Hi musicdoc1, it sounds like you’re running into trouble with that on the old stats page. Is that right?
Could you give it a try on the new stats page at https://wordpress.com/stats/ and let me know if you have the same trouble there?
That will help me narrow down what’s going wrong for you so I can investigate it further. :)

Howdy! Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, I was able to flag referrers as spam at https://wordpress.com/stats/. -
Thanks for clarifying that! I just tested out the “Spam” link in both the new stats at https://wordpress.com/stats/ and the older stats page, and it worked for me in both places (in both Firefox and Chrome).
Clicking on “Spam” in the older stats page does open the submenu of links from that referrer, but it also spams that referrer. (You’ll see the “Spam” link change to say “Undo.”) When you refresh the page, the referrer you spammed will be removed from the list.
Can you try checking that again (refreshing the page after you click the “Spam” link) and let me know if you’re still running into trouble with it?

There still is no indication that the referrer is being spammed when attempts to flag it as such are made in the stats page I’ve used for the past several years. I refer to this one https://songbook1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats. Just tried to spam multiple trackosaurusrex.com links with the only effect, as previously described, being to display the submenu items. Refreshing the page has no effect after attempts to flag referrer links as spam.

“Undo spam” does not appear when I attempt to flag referrers as spam in the oldest stats page.

@musicdoc1 — Thanks for clarifying that. I was looking at the older stats page at https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=6538494 rather than the one in the WP Admin dashboard.
I just checked for trackosaurusrex.com in your referrer stats, and it doesn’t appear there. I’m not sure if you went ahead and spammed it from a different stats page, but it was successfully marked as spam.
I’ll let our team know about the “Undo” link not appearing there, but for now please use one of the newer stats pages if you’d like to make sure you can spam and un-spam those referrers.
