Apostrophe 2 – change color of featured tag

  • The default color scheme for this theme works great with my logo. There is a purple color used for a small banner placed on the picture for posts marked as “Featured” that I would like to change. If I go to customize->featured content, there is only an option to change the text. Is there a way to change the color?

    I am on a premium account.

    Thank you.

  • Hi there!

    This can be done with some custom CSS code. Please go to My Site>Design>Customize>CSS and paste this piece of code there:

    .entry-footer a[rel="category tag"], .sticky .entry-meta, .blog .featured-content .entry-meta .posted-on {
        background-color: #117bb8;
    }

    Also, remember that with your plan you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.

  • Thank you, it worked perfectly!!!
