Annoying WP survey that blocks access to my blog
-
Hi,
Has anybody experienced the very annoying WP survey that is obligatory and does not let you bypass it and go directly to your blog? I’ve had this problem when trying to log in to my blog site and although the survey says it’s ONE day only, it’s been going on for two weeks now. I was trying to be nice and fill out the survey but this toxic software wants you to get a service for $9.99/month charged to your cell phone bill. It’s outreagous! I cannot believe that such reputable site as worpress.com would ever allow scam like that! BTW, once you try canceling the survey by pressing the button “No, thank you.” it takes you to another “great” offer. There is no freaking way to access my blog now. I checked with my visitors and none of them was asked to participate in the survey. Is it some kind of sick joke that somebody is playing with blog owners? Did anybody have similar experience? Right now when I want to access my blog, I need to go to worpress.org, click on their link to wordpress.com and ONLY then I can log in to my blog without seeing this survey offer on my screen. How frustrating is that?!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have not indicated the URL of a real blog beginning with http so tough to even guess at the issue.
I can’t believe the WP.COM is doing what you have indicated. You could ask support to check your blog: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
But I would suggest you check your PC for virus or malware, all the incidents of things like you describe were security issues on the user’s PC and not a WordPress.COM issue.

Thanks for suggestions!
I contacted the support and it turned out that somebody bought domains that have very similar names to WordPress so when you accidentally misspell the address of your blog (which turned out I did and saved it in my browser history) it directs you to their survey. Very confusing. Check it out:
http://www.worpress.com
Even their logo is confusing because it has letters WP in it.Good lesson for me to always check the spelling, especially with long URL addresses.
BTW, my blog URL is http://www.thefaceofamoderngoddess.wordpress.com and it turned out to work just fine! :)
