Anchor integration – convert to audio not working

    After republishing a post, I click convert to audio, it sends me to Anchor’s episodes page, but no drafts to edit from there like in the video tutorial.

    Hi there,

    This is an issue with converting a post on alonsochehadenow.wordpress.com yes? Can you point out which blog post you are trying to convert to a podcast on Anchor?

    I checked a few blog posts on that site, but I noticed that most of them seem to have an audio embed of some kind already in place, which I think may be at issue here. If you can point out the post you are working with we can take a closer look.

    Hi there,

    We can’t test this directly, as we have no access to your Anchor.fm account. We can only check the WordPress.com post itself, and I don’t see anything in that post that could potentially cause issues here. So it looks like the problem is on Anchor’s side instead.

    If you go directly to https://anchor.fm/dashboard/episodes, do you see the post there?

    You won’t see any drafts there. Just published posts that Anchor has pulled in from your WordPress.com site. If you then click Create Episode next to a post there, it should show you a pop-up with the post’s text content, and the different options available to add audio.

    Also check in the top-right corner if there’s perhaps a new post notice – you might need to manually import any posts not synced to Anchor yet before they will appear.

    If you don’t see the post listed there at all and no option to import it, please contact Anchor’s support directly so they can check into this from their end as well.
