Allowed Memory Size EXHAUSTED?!
-
Okay, I have no idea what has happened.
Everytime I log into wordpress admin, I see this
“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /home/insanity/public_html/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 70“Now, the things i’ve bold tend to change. So it’s not just one file. I did not edit any files before this, nor did I upload any.
I also checked my Cpanel and I’m not running out of space. I checked that just to make sure.
I am REALLY confused as to why this happened. I don’t even fully understand what it means. I didn’t know WP had a memory size?

are you hosted here at wordpress.com? What’s your blog’s URL?

And no i’m not hosted here.
& I just realized that the ‘7 things to know’ article said to ask for help if I was hosted here. But no one I have asked can help me, so I’d really like to try both places. Sorry -
If you have downloaded wordpress.org software then you need to post here http://wordpress.org/support
We run on different software at wordpress.com, we cannot access our underlying template files, and we cannot help you here. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/wordpresscom-vs-wordpressorg/ -

my guess, your host *process* memory limits suck a bit, alternatively WP eats too much of it. why? — look for plugins installed first.
