Allow comments to be tied to specific text like "Medium.com"

    While I’ve been using wordpress.com for the past 4 years, I really wish we could incorporate the ability to allow our readers to link a comment directly to a specific piece of text and then have a discussion thread based on that comment on the side of the blog post.

    Not only would I enjoy it as a reader, but as a writing teacher, this would really help my students grow as writers if their classmates and myself could leave a comment by highlighting a segment of text and then commenting right there and not at the bottom of the post.
