All Admin Users Lost Access to WordPress.COM website
-
We have a website which is hosted directly on WordPress.com. Yesterday I was updating some plugins and the website went down because of incompatible versions in some of the plugins. I used the chat and connected with one of the support experts and he deactivated the plugin which were causing the trouble. Then I tried to use the activity menu to rewind the website back before updating the plugins. But suddenly I was logged out and the WordPress.com asked me for a verification code sent to my accounts’ phone number. After logging in again and clicking on “My Site” icon it says “You don’t have any website. Create a new one”.
I asked the website owner to check with his account and he said that he can see the website both in the browser and WordPress mobile app. But few minutes later the same thing happened to his account too. Now neither of us have access to the website. We also cannot login to the wp-admin directly because it is having a fatal error which prevents us from logging in there.
I opened several tickets and after convincing the experts that my website is hosted on WordPress.com at the end they told me that they reroute me to some engineers that have access to help me with the problem. But I still didn’t receive any response from anyone. I hope I can get a solution here. The website address is https://areu.org.af -
